nobody tells anybody anything in this forum its just a bunch o complainers that want to mod and have a con resigner. IF I MADE A CON RESIGNER i would give it to every body even though there "might be a risk" or "porn will run wild" i would NOT CARE and everybody will be happy. Think of how many people would be happy if just one person stood out and did the right thing for the masses.:beerchug: Halo 3 is getting boring and we need a little spice to get things going again. I know this message will piss some people off but i dont want to hear it CAPISH:shootme:

Once you were actually successful at making one I guarantee you wouldn't release it.

And releasing a CON resigner would just get your keypairs banned.

Hmm I see, if you released a CON resigner microsoft would add more security and render the current CON resigners useless. You could possiblely get sued and you would get most of the people that used it banned, that wouldn't make everyone happy... Porn in Halo 3 is bad. Its never going to happen. Those who have CON resigners don't chose to keep it to themselves, its more they don't really have a choice.

ok when i try this tut http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/halo...beginners.html i get to about when you open the map in sand box when i hit open it says Map folder has not been set here is the ? how do i fix this problem (Map folder has not been set )

Go to "Tools -> Settings", then select the folder with all of your maps.

update bungies rules ad maby add some general stuff (non usermaps) like:

Q: How hard/long would it take to make a map resigner?
A: It would be impossible/take literally until the end of humanity.

Q: Is there a way to get godmode?
A: No that would be map modding, map modding includes projectile swaps, texture swaps, and pretty much anything that isnt placement of objects made by bungie.

Q: Why can't we mod map files?
A: You can, you cant play them though because noone has or ever will decrypt the map encryption.

Q: I'm almost done with my map resigner!
A: No your not.

Q: Will I get banned for modding?
A: Only if you spread the mods.

Q: Can I haz recon?
A: Only in a film.

I feel that general F.A.Q. are already expressed in other threads and that this thread should stay the way it is. However I may do a General F.A.Q. sometime if the community wants it. Tell me what you guys think.
