| Novice | Getting People Banned Would it work if you modded a pic and changed the author to someone else and put it on your fileshaire.. would they get banned? |

| Junior Member | Re: Getting People Banned wow. that would be a real douchebag move. and I don't think it would unless you really, really hack the pic because I'm pretty sure it would log it (other than "author" as displayed on screen) to your 360... so you'd pretty much have to get their 360's ID. |

| 7S Enthusiast | Re: Getting People Banned No, this would not work. Even though they are the author of the picture, you would be banned for having modded content on your fileshare. I had some modded pictures on mine and I got console banned from MM for a month. |

| 7S Enthusiast | Re: Getting People Banned You could get their console ID from a film that they were in using Vanity. Then you could mod any screenshot/usermap/film to appear as if they made it. However, you'd have to convince them to host it on their fileshare... Maybe if they're dumb enough, you could say: "Trust me it's perfectly safe putting modded stuff on your fileshare. Bungie will only ban you if they find out that you're the one that made the mod, and look, I modded the author so they won't even know it's me! In fact, Bungie likes it when people put mods on their fileshare! It helps them find out who the modders are so they can ban them." There's no beating that logic! | Senior Member | Re: Getting People Banned You all realize that even if you were to get someone to put something modded in their fileshare they would only get fileshare banned. They wouldn't actually get banned from MM or anything and they certainly wouldn't get console banned. |

| 7S Enthusiast | Re: Getting People Banned A few months ago you did. I don't know about it now. It was when the modded picture of a man's penis was going around. Shishka was console banning people from MM for a month. Usually it's only a file share ban but because of so many people doing it, people got console banned. |
