well this didnt work for me on one of my accounts -_- i modded halo 3 and didnt mod the ODST vidmasters. i got them legitly. but i still didnt get recon :'( so i gave the tag away and started a new profile

So I did Classic, then Deja Vu, and then the worst EVER, ENDURE. I then checked my Road to Recon status and it changed to, "Error: We are having trouble confirming your Classic achievement. Please wait 24 hours for the game to appear on Bungie.net." So I then went back and redid classic and went back to check my Road to Recon Status and..........................

I GOT THE "UNLOCK MY RECON" OPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I clicked the Unlock button and the page loaded and the Unlock My Recon button changed to "Unlocked Successfully."

I then loaded up my Mythic Multiplayer CD, (Halo 3 Complete Multiplayer Experience, Disc 2 in your ODST Box) and went to my armor and immediately noticed my Selection of Helmets jumped from 10 to 11. So I scrolled and found..............

RECON!

And now I have mine. Hackers,

You can get yours, but YOU MUST GET YOUR ODST VIDMASTERS LEGITLY! I AM SOLID PROOF OF THIS!

1 day i modded my gammertag i wanted to change my name and i had recon on that account and i coppied my acout details in mmodio and coppied my acount deatiles into a acount i prevously made which has 0 gamerscore and i got recon and changed my name for the acount i modded , that also works to get recon i did it my self

doesnt screw up ur profile at all u hav 2 profiles 1 modded and 1 that is just normal.
