Failed to load content

I went and modded a map, resingned using my consoles id and my profiles id, and the next time i put in halo 3 mythic (the one that came with odst) no maps load, including the stocks, AT ALL... I have tried everything. clearing cache... I even formatted my hard drive! but to no avail. The strangest thing is that all of the maps load fine without my hdd in. I have my suspicions of some sort of virus but you can never be sure. i just want to know how to play halo again

You should try cleaning your disc and making sure that you didn't mess with anything else on your HDD. I've heard of people's ODST multiplayer disc just stop working and failing to load maps for no reason, so it could also be a coincidence. And also there is no virus that can be put on a 360 HDD to infect the 360.

thanks, i know it has something to do with the hdd and i think my brother deleted some accounts using the xport software, could someone tell me what should be in there? because now theres only 00000000 or something and e-------- or something.

Prob a virus or you deleted them

Like Twisted said, there are no Viruses for the HDD. Just load your profile backup and inject the file into your profile folder FFE07D1 or whatever. Try that.

You should see something similar to this:

Of course there will probably be a lot less folders of E0000something because those are user profiles and I have tons of accounts on my HDD. Just check to make sure that you have everything that I have shown in terms of user profiles. And try just injecting your profile that was never modded back onto your HDD like already stated.

Anytime, you should have just tried to figure out your problem though. Even if HDD's are really cheap it might have just been a quick fix for your HDD.
