unable to mod the gametag in a film

recently i had beat this kid in a 1v1, and i managed to get a triple kill (hard to believe i know) anyhow i had saved the film and put it in my my share. Next thing i know i had to change my gametag because it ""violated"" the terms of service. So i tried to mod my previous gamertag in the film to my new one so i could use it in a montage. but after i modded the gamertag and go to watch the film, it reverts the gamertag back to the previous one.

I have tried
*replacing all old gamer tags with my new gt in hex workshop
*and using a variety of film editors (vanity...ect.)

i will give thanks for help.

I have a very simple solution for you. Open your video in any hex editor, and make sure you replace BOTH of your gamertags. When you search up your gamertag, there will be 2 of the same...for instance...

EgotisticPain....EgotisticPain

Kind of like that. If it doesn't work, then upload the film, and I will dl it, and mod it for you.

tried that and it couldn't find any of our gts

That's weird. You should have been able to. Try using a different film editor then.
