A few questions about Modding

Ok, I've read a few tutorials on modding Halo 3, and I think I have it figured out. But I have three quick little questions.

1: I read a few things that mentioned something called Xport. Do I need this to Mod?

2: I'm a little confused on how I connect my 360 HDD to my Computer to use Forge and
CONcept.

3: This one isn't very important, but is there a way to mod my armor to actually have
stuff like Recon or the Katana, not just show them in films/replays?

1. Xport is needed. It is a cable that connects your hdd to you computer and lets you transfer files between them.

2. You need xport to connect your hdd to your comp. This lets you use forge and concept to mod the files on your hdd.

3. I'm not sure. The only way I could think to do that would be to mod your gamer score, but that probably wouldn't work

Do you NEED Xplorer360? or is there another way to inject things?
I need help with Xplorer.. I cant get anything in my partition 3 to open up, I have a 120 GB HDD.

You need to use either Xport (the program that comes with the hardware of the same name) or Xplorer360. There is an update that gives compatibility with 60GB and 120GB hard drives:

when you HDD is 60GB or Higher it dosent work with xplorer 360.

with the update work it for 60gb or higher??? i youse the transferkit not xport...

Well, I use Xport (hardware), and before I installed the update (first link I posted) I was unable to open Partition 3 on my friends' 120GB and 60GB hard drives. After I installed it, I was able to open Partition 3 in Xport (software) and Xplorer360.

I would suggest downloading it - it can't hurt.
