well i tried just dragging and dropping, that gave me the corrupt profile. ill try the resigning thing tomorw, but i doubt it will work. there must be something messed up tht needs to be properly hashed

works nice, tobad its hard to do anything because you die so easiliy

and to load a halo 3 save you will also need the correct profileid found in the players section of the personal file

Ok for anyone who is lost in makeing this odst save work.. all u need to do is drag the extracted folder to ur content on ur hdd. It works on ever console i have.. just drag and drop.

wait the extracted folder u just mean the porifle u extracted right, well i tryed dragging it and it doesnt work it currupts the profile

hmm so as we have seen draging it and dropping it will not work with the odst save where you play as an odst, doob was wrong

, to put it on you need 2 rehash and resign the profile and the save with ur device id not ur profile id since ur putting the profile on. I did this and the profile worked but the save is messed up..... after the loading it goes black then shows on my screen unable to respawn teamate in combat and shows the odst dieing... idk and then it boots me back to the menu or to the campaign lobby and then says the game ended because a player left the game!? lol what the heck??

tried this in theather and it shows u playing as an odst all of 1 sec... so plz fix the save

dont we need to change the console ids?/device ID?

EDIT: i changed the device id to my own then resigned and rehashed and it works!

if you can do this with campaign saves cant you do it with .map mods?

also what happens if i get the save and change the ids to my own, can i still play it online or will i be uberly banned?

ur welcome =-) now did it work for you becasue idk lol was screwed up for me, read above^ and see you can't do this with .map mods becasue a .map mod edits the map it self while a usermap edits just the items on it and with a save your saveing a checkpoint and modding it, your not modding the map itself. And also you can't change it to your own ids because each save is like locked to the profile, thats why it comes with a profile, but yeah i think you can pplay it online, it will be fine. Just you need to change the gt of them, for the grunt save its and offline profile, so just change the name and set up xbl with it and ur good

If anyone has any questions just ask and i will be makeing some more advanced saves.. but nothing needs done to the file its just a drag and drop think its allready signed. Do not change the name of the offline profile or save will not work. Do not sign its allready done and it works on everyones console.

Nah i dont do XBL mods so i shouldnt be banned. But anyone is welcome to share this save with friends and who ever just please dont take credit i spent lots of time to research saves and offer a working save for the cummunity.

........... ok its simple theres a profile and a save just drag and drop the root folder (the profile) Name E0000XXXXXXXX to p3/content

play my profile and continue the game.

Yeah it does cuz i got it to work. You have to sign out of your gamertag and sign into his gamertag the, "Doob E Snack" profile.

I got the ODST save to work by signing out of my gamertag and signing into the provided "Doob E Snack" profile. Just because you can't get it to work, doesn't mean it doesn't work...

Wow theres pics... dude im a pretty nice guy but this was explained in really good detail. Everyone i talked to said it worked. it works on all my consoles. drag then drop into content. sign into the profile then the load odst. resume game..
