Cart, as Otaku said, there are no flying turrets in Halo 3, simply because those types of mods can't be done in the game. Don't worry though, everyone new to modding has asked the same question

If you cruise around the forums, you'll find out more as to why those types of mods can't be done, but to put it simply:
Those are different types of mods (.map mods), which cannot be done on a retail Xbox 360

Oh, and protip:
Don't post in all caps, and don't use smilies like you did. People will tend to respect you better if you keep things plain, proper, and simple

Please don't type all in caps and please elaborate on what you want, that description is very vague. What do you want? Hovering machine gun turrets, plasma cannons, Shades or all of the above? Which map? Why?

True, but it is possible to have a turret hover above the ground by placing the turret on an object and deleting the object under the turret after the turret has set. I think this is what this person meant.

Alright im getting quite annoyed with this **** and i know tons more of us must be to. I think this site needs some reconstruction so we can get the **** that is progressing our modding capabilities and findings in one thread section and another where all the **** that is retarded/not getting us anything with progression ie. Help needed or MODS wanted thread. I get on this site very regularly trying to improve my ability to mod on the 360 and learn the short cuts/ work towards breakthroughs and i have to dig through the retarded posts to find anything worth seeing. Someone please get on this ****?

Hey, I think I've seen this mod. It was on Avalanche, and when you hopped in this missile pod, every time you shot with it you were all glitched and you when flying up out of bounds (you when up about 2 1/2 spartan lengths) and everyone sees you as waayyy out of bounds, but on your screen your stuck at the boundary line.
Is that it?
