1 you arent very good at bridging
2 your networks are incompatable
3 your friend is host banned

every time i get to the last part where i have to rais my lvl up to high it works but then after like a min it just kicks me out the game.

would it still work if i put it back to mediam?

plus, no you cant, if you put it to medium and he standby's, it will switch hosts on you, or even if its before the game will start it will most likely give someone else host

hey can someone give me some advice on cain @ able i was bridging fine almost every time and then one morning i turned on my computer and set everything up and tried to poison for ips and nothing came up any one got any ideas i tryed redownloading both zone alarm and cain and re installing and all the usual trouble shooting stuff if you can help me out it would be very much appreciated

make sure you have selected the right ips and that everything is plugged in right

Troubleshoot common errors:
:1: make sure your computer is connected to the router correctly and via ethernet

:2: go to configure and make sure you are connected to the network your Xbox is on

:3: check the scan options and make sure its just like normal

:4: check program firewalls and make sure they arent blocking it

:5: make sure your hardware is functioning right and that its "network connection" is fully connected

:6: all else fails, uninstall winpcap and cain, reinstall them both

i have followed all the steps so far, but when i press the Apr icon the ip's of my friends dont appear! in the troubleshooting section it says start again, but still nothing. Any suggestions to where i'm going wrong? cheers

yes how about you use something called your eyes and look around, maybe use a search button and not stare at it aimlessly

I have my cain and abel all set up and have my network on internet and Im host but I cant standby, it wont work. when I start my auto standbying its just like a normal game. what am I doing wrong?

Anyone having problems with Cain? As soon as a start ARP poisoning Cain shuts down and says some type of error, send report to microsoft etc.

as discussed in 10000000 posts your network has to be on internet not trusted and you cant add your xbox IP to the list at all either

we already discussed that in another 1000000 other posts, when i was developing how to force host, we figured out that cain sucks almost as much as me (<3 lulz) and will frequently crash or not work or die out, if you dont like it, either use compy bridging, switchsniffer, or leave it alone
