First of all thank you for the great and mostly easy to follow guide to bridging.

I'm new to bridging and I have a couple of questions that I hope I can get an answer to.

1. If I try to bridge my friend host and there are 2 different xboxs on the same IP in the same party what happens? Which xbox do I join to?
2. I enter matchmaking with my firewall on high and wait until boxes start to appear do I keep my firewall on high still or drop it to medium?
3. "configuring game" I drop my firewall for 1-2 seconds to medium correct? which screen is this? Is it when we get boxes, boxes get locked in or when we get the option to veto the gametype?
4. For some reason when boxes join they don't half-route at all why is this and what have I done wrong?

Any helpful answer is greatly appreciated because I am half clueless

i can barely understand wtf you are talking about, the tut tells you everything and has pictures to every thing you ask, please the friggen tutorial
1 this is the only thing i am unsure about, if you are trying to bridge someone across teh interent with 2 xboxes on their network, thats gonna be hard on there part determining which xbox is host. if its 2 xboxes on your network, you couldnt do that without it switching host unless you have 2 compies

start MM search
when players matched, 4 secs then med
3 secs then high
keep it on high no matter what

4 when boxes join? what? when you drop your firewall, then and only then will IPs appear

FYI: I fixed the problem myself when I noticed the post further down the page about turning your new network from Trusted to Internet.

There was also no problem bridging them host because either I joined to the right xbox by chance or it just does'nt matter since they're on the same network/IP

I've got a quick question here, I don't have a router I just have a modem with 6 LAN ports, so I have an ethernet cable going from the PC to the modem, and from the 360 to the modem. Would that make things impossible for me?

I have the tutorial several times and I'm sure I'm not doing anything, but when I have my settings set to High (Internet Zone) I can't find anyone, and I mean there are 0 games available. If I go down to Med then I find somebody almost instantly. If I ever set it back to High it just kicks me off and restarts the searching process again (which of course stays at 0 games found).

well, lets see
1 - you have to be bridging SOMEONE ELSE host
2 - if you are being bridged host, you keep your firewall off until game
3 - it should take a while to find games when bridging SOMEONE else host
4 - all those are are modems+router combos, doesnt change anything
5 - make sure IPs are in trusted

Uhm quick question, When I click to poison in litteraly 2 seconds I can shut it off and then I will lag out completly and have to reset my xbox.

did u try it in doubles cuz i heard n im pretty sure bridging in doubles is impossible and rare. if u tried in dubz u most likely lagged out

people do it in doubles all the time

and mizwax, thatd pointless cause you can do the language trick just as well along with you dont rank up, only good for exp and achievements

Correct me if I am wrong (I did a lot of cheating in halo 2 and none in halo 3), but if you are using the crossover cable...
1) You should bridge your connection from router to comp with the one from comp to xbox
2) You cannot use Cain & Abel when your connections are bridged. I think the old program I used in H2 was called "commview" and it is prol what they still use.
