Router Bridging In Halo 3 - Cain & Abel + Zone Alarm Pro 7.1 ::.

I get the bridging thing with halo 3 pretty well memorized, the only problem i have is

: I cant see the IP address for my router when I do the sniff button. The xbox 360 shows up though.
: I dont know if it makes a difference that I have a crossover cable going from my computer to the console itself. In the tutorial by krafty the setup is with seperate cables. I tried this approach and it didnt work either?

No, thats why it said you need 3 ethernet cables.... at least i think.

you need to have three cables. on from your modem to your router. then a second from the router to the computer and a 3rd to your xbox.

You were most likely party host. Your friend MUST be the host of the party in order for you to bridge him. There is a gametype and map on my fileshare (hoochan) called Host and Ho is Host. Download both and use that. Once the game starts, it will end with 1 person having a score of 1. That person is your party host.

Also, the ICS bridging guide only covers up to bridging your connection. Is there any chance that you can continue it into the Cain and Abel aspects and so on? I've been finding other ways to cheat but this information will be much appreciated.

In the text it says to have your network on trusted but in the picture it shows it in the internet zone. Which should it be?

1. This part is also similar to Halo 2, but instead, you are going to add 2 IP RANGES instead. So read carefully. Go to your Firewall, and then click on the ZONES tab (Make sure you only have your NETWORK listed, Delete everything else. And make sure your Network is under TRUSTED):


2. On the bottom, go to Add -> IP RANGE:


3. The 2 IP RANGES your going to add under TRUSTED are:
65.59.234.0 - 65.59.234.255
65.55.42.0 - 65.55.42.225


4. Now you should have:

ive just recently started my first attempts at bridging and ive been reading these forums extensively for help in the process
im stuck so i decided to just join and ask for some help ha

So far in the halo 3 forums ive only been able to find the router bridging tutorial and my set up goes from my modem to a linksys router with an ethernet to my computer then from my second ethernet port with a crossover to my 360. now i was wondering what i need to do for this type of bridged connection cuz ive been using commview and zone alarm but when i try to bridge my friend host with zonealarm on high inernet zone and medium trusted zone with his ip in my trusted zone.. it loads games up but doesnt give him host... any suggestions? i havent been able to find any good tutorials for my type of set up.

to both of you, the networks have to be on internet, shk had you looked at peoples posts you wouldve seen i said that already

you need to be wired to your router for cain to poison correctly

what you could do is have wireless in to your laptop then wire your laptop to your 360 and use ICS then just fallow the halo 2 ICS tuts but with the new changes

When it gets to "CONFIGURING GAME" or something: Wait 1-2 seconds, and then LOWER YOUR FIREWALL TO MED

So i dont understand this what exactly am i looking for? could you add some detail?

could you add detail on wht you are asking about? on the tv screen, there should be some text in maybe... arial or times new roman, saying cinfiguring game. at that point in time, you start the counting and you swivel your butt to you compy screen, take your hand, move the mouse to the firewall. after the first count, click and drag the firewall to medium

well thing is i never see configuring game and also my cain never says half routing it just always says Full routing so how do i know when to switch it to high?
