I have followed the whole 'easy reading your commview' tutorial and did all the steps. You know, port 3740, set it to both, blah blah. This is where I get totally confused. Ok, so I don't get any IP adresses (Not my router, or bungies) in the Latest IP List. I've talked to several people. And from what I've heard Im assuming that it is because I am not directly connected to the internet through my computer. So I switched my XBox to my different computer. But my main question is How on earth do I set it up so that it is directly connected to my computer, and so that I can get IPs?! Im no computer expert but a very fast learner and started learning all this stuff yesterday, so sorry if I seem like a faggot noob. Any any any help at all is greatly appreciated and hopefully can result in a Thanks if I can get a real answer. | ||||||

| It is called bridging. The way you're trying to bridge, you can't use commview to get IPs. Commview can only be effectly used if you're xbox is connected THROUGH your PC then your PC to router. When you want to bridge with a router between your xbox and PC, you have to use a program call Cain & Abel. Follow this tutorial on how to router bridge... [OLD] Router Bridging - Cain & Abel v4 + Zone Alarm Pro ::. EDIT: If i remember correctly, you're using Vista. So you're going to have to use this tutorial instead.... Do I need to be wirelessly connected, or wired or what? I've gotten it before, but can't get it now. Last edited by GamerX; 06-03-2008 at 09:47 PM. | ||||||
