its basically a ghetto version of Zone alarm... you flip the switch, your internet to whatever the cable goes to quits, you flip it again, it starts back up...

MUCH easier and better to use Zone alarm with a bridge

Lol!

Basically, it's used so that when someone shoots at you, you activate the lag switch so that your XBOX doesn't recieve the info that says you have been shot, thus you are invincable for the 4 seconds you can use it for at one time.

So, when you're going to be shot, activate it, kill the guy shooting you, then you both end up dead. It's not that great, really.

Just plug the XBOX into a hub/switch, then the lag switch will go between your hub/switch and the ADSL line.

You can't have the lag switch plugged directly into the XBOX, because it can detect the voltage differences between the cables.

But i don't see what this has to do with halo 3 modding... :O

Mine goes from my router to my xbox and works fine.
@Sniperman, A lag switch is now for just one game, you can use it on any xbl game.

it seems to me like this would be really impracticle to do in matchmaking, im not sure but it seems itd be easier to just have somebody help you get a 50

When you fliped it how long did you wait to flip it back? BTW you only have about 4 seconds until you have to flip it back.

Lol, if your always red bar then why would you need a lag switch? It says on the cable if its CAT5.
