Unlock all armor glitch

Ok guys haven't been here for a while but anyway i'm actually wondering if this works because i saw it on bungie.net and they deleted the thread and perma'd everyone who posted in it. So here it is.





Step 1: Start up the lobby

Step 2: Sign in your guest

Step 3: Now, open up your appearance as the guest, and goto APPERANACE--->HEAD select LOCKED (Slot 10). Now, click right then click A almost nearly the same time. If you did it right, it will flash to something wierd, then to mark IV.

Step 4: Do the same thing for the shoulder (Except in slot 7). You'll notice when performed correctly with the shoulder, the head option will flash too

Step 5: Now, exit out of the guest and go back to you. Go to your GT. Select option ten (ROGUE), click RIGHT then click A. It'll flash to Mark IV, then Rogue, then back to Mark IV. Once it does that, do it the shoulders (starting from slot 7 instead of slot 10), then to the body (slot 6 instead of slot 10). You'll notice that when performed with teh body, ALL Of the armors which flash to Mark IV and back.

Final Step: As I said, you'll need a friend and extreme luck. Have your friend approach the 360. Do the step 5 trick again, except in the body slot. Your friend needs to hit the 360's power EXACTLY as it hits ''Mark IV''. Make sure you hit the ''POWER button'', and not just unplug the 360, or it won't save. If done correctly, boot it up. Enjoy your RECON.

WARNING: IF you sign into live with this armor, it'll automatically shut off after ONE ''LIVE'' Game. If you don't connect to LIVE, it'll last forever.


ALSO NOTE: This can be done with every armor in the game, even Hayabusa, Recon, etc. BUT, it does NOT work with the Flaming Helm (Body armor). For some reason. Perhaps Recon was originally programmed to be unlocked in-game or something, while Flaming Helm always required some sort of GT Check

nice, but i gotta get a way to save that armor on live. if anyone figures that out... haha, i don't know how you figure this out, it's so obscure. but if anyone figures it out, that's valuable information.

So, can this be used on Xbox Live as well, or jut offline? Because my quest would love to be able to have his armor more customizable too. Recon! Are you serious dude!? Couldn't you get banned for doing this, well I know its a glitch, but still... Oh, well offline is still ok, I can enjoy recon offline at least woot, lol.

alright, lets put a stop to this (in a slightly more polite way than XBannedX put it) the recon armour is NOT a inbuilt option. it is downloaded from bungie. therefore undoubtedly this cannot work. the idea of the glitch itself is pointless... if you want some screenshots of you wearing recon you'd b much better to get a video of you playing normaly then alter the armour and have the vid resigned. other than that you gotta work hard an basicaly bend over backwards (not in a fun way ) to bungie. so in summary, "no you cant have recon" (or in halo 3 speak, N0, y00 c4ntz h4z t3h R3c0nz) sorry. but its true
