1- When you first load the "Prepare To Drop" map, should you let it get to 100% or interrupt the loading process like the guy in this video does?

2- Before restarting ODST, are you supposed to go into the Firefight lobby, or just highlight it on the main menu? (When I merely highlight it, restarting the game causes Campaign to be highlighted by default -- does this mean you're supposed to press Down to highlight Firefight and press the A button rapidly to select it, too?)

3- If you do go into to the Firefight lobby prior to restarting, are you supposed to go into it by backing up to the main menu and selecting it, or by using the "Switch Lobby" button at the top of the Campaign lobby screen?

4- Speaking of which, doesn't going into the Firefight lobby make the game start loading one of the Firefight maps, replacing the "Prepare to Drop" one you loaded earlier?

5- As for restarting ODST, are you supposed to turn the Xbox off and turn it back on, or just back up to the Dashboard using the Guide button?

6- Do you have to be signed in to Xbox Live?

7- If you fail, do you have to do anything to "reset" the process before trying again?

Thanks!

1: 100%

2: I have done both. Just to be sure, Highlight Firefight, then go int the FF loby and try again.

3: You should not have to do the "switch lobby" option. It should automaticly go into firefight if you hit the A fast enough

4: Im not sure what your saying, but No, It loads the "Prepare to drop" map, but if you end the Game when in the Prepare to drop map, it loads up the last Real firefight map you played on.

5:Going to the Dashboard using the guide button Works.

6:You can be offline or online. Doesn't matter

7:Nope. Just restart again.( Make sure your in the FF loby when you go to the Dashboard, though)

Hope that Helps!

Thanks for the response, Nowise.

What I mean is:

AFAIK, this glitch works by loading "Prepare To Drop" into the cache, restarting the game, and then jumping into Firefight ASAP so that it loads "Prepare To Drop" from the cache instead of loading one of the Firefight maps from scratch.

But if you go into the Firefight lobby before restarting, it immediately starts loading one of the Firefight maps. When it does this, doesn't it start replacing the cached version of "Prepare To Drop" that I loaded up a few seconds ago?

This seems to be the case, because every time I try this glitch I get a Firefight lobby with no map selected and the warning "The current map is not available. Please select a different map." This seems to happen no matter what method I try.

What do you mean by "when in the Prepare to drop map"? Are you supposed to actually start a campaign game? Are you saying what to do here, or what not to do? I'm confused.
