[H3] How to EXP Boost and Language Boost In Ranked Un-Detectibly in Halo 3

This thread will show you how to EXP boost or Language boost in Halo 3 past Title Update 2 without getting banned. Because as we all know if you go and boost normally you will get EXP Banned or Matchmaking banned.

Warning: This only works in ranked matches, if you try to boost in social you will get EXP banned or permanantly banned.
Requirements:
Halo 3
Xbox 360
Friend(s)
Multiple controllers
I will first show you how to do the glitch to never get caught boosting. This tricks the system and the only way that you can actually be caught is by a Bungie employee looking at your games and seeing that you boosted.

1.What you first want to do is sign into any xbox live account that you have.

2.Go to the Xbox 360 Dashboard
3.Go to your gamercard
4.Go to preferences
5.Go to appear Offline
6.Back out of this screen after choosing appear offline and go back to the Dashboard.
7.Go to system Settings.
8.Go to Console Settings
9.Go to Network Settings
10.Go to Test Xbox Live Connection
11.Let it sign you out of Xbox live and test the connection

12.Once it is done testing Sign back into the same account that you were using before
13.Then go to your gamercard
14.Go to preferences
15.Go to appear offline

16. Once you click that go back to the dashboard.
Once you have done this it will trick the "Banhammer" and it will make it almost impossible to ban you.
You only have to do this once per xbox, so once you do it you NEVER have to do it again.
The only thing you have to do repeatedly is appear offline every time you are going to boost before you boost.
This glitch only works if everyone you are boosting with does the glitch. So if someone doesn't do it you run the risk of being banned.
If you have more than one account signed in they all need to appear offline
If the account has MSN messanger linked to the account you must also appear offline with that too.

Now I will show you how to change your language and Language boost.
1.Once in the dashboard go to My xbox

2.Go to System Settings all the way at the right

3.Go to Console Settings

4. Go to Language

5. Pick any random language at the bottom of the list, but make sure the people that you are boosting with change it to the same language.
6. VERY IMPORTANT, Everyone that is boosting with you must change their language even if they are not party leader
7. Start halo 3 up and go to whatever playlist you are boosting in.
8. Get both of your parties ready

9. The party leader of both parties needs to press the X button

10. Now scroll down to the last thing on the list and press the A button on it
11. Now start the game up and you will match against each other
12. Now boost like you have never boosted before
Note: If you boost medals too much you will get your medals locked in that playlist and never be able to have medals show up on your service record on Bungie.net ever again.

CONGRATULATIONS!! You now know how to EXP Boost and Language Boost without getting Banned In halo 3.

Question, I boosted in Lone Wolves and the games stopped counting on my bungie stats, but the xp counted. When I stopped boosting the stats started updating again. Will this technique avoid the problem I'm having?

No because when you boost with the same people for more than something like 3 games the games stop counting for true skill rank, but it still gives you EXP. My method above will only give you EXP and maybe if you're 3 games away from ranking up then you will rank up. Or if you have multiple accounts that you want to switch up and do this you can get rank out of it. But then it would just be like my other boosting tutorial, which you can see in my signature.

So are you saying if I boost with 4 others in lone wolves for a couple games, then switch to boosting with 4 others for a couple, then switch again the stats should still count or no?

Correct. But make sure everyone does this glitch or else the BANHAMMER will come.

Oh, and I'm doing it to boost k/d on my new tag. I've heard you mention getting your medals locked a couple times. If I continue switching players will this also be avoided, and if it happens will the other playlists count towards k/d and medals still show up? Cause I plan on boosting in lonewolves for more than 5 games or something but don't want my medals locked.

As long as you keep switching players your medals or K/D shouldn't get locked. If it does get locked somehow it will only be locked for that playlist, so for your situation, Lone Wolves. Every other playlist you will be able to get medals and your K/D up.

My friends boosted 500+ exp in V-Day by only appearing offline, you dont have to do the whole thing where you test your connection, they all just appear offline, and hes gotten a general in slayer,doubles,V-Day like this

I doubt he only appeared offline. If all you had to do was appear offline I'm pretty sure a lot more people would have figured out how to boost with out getting banned.

Yes, you can boost in ranked as much as you want and nothing will happen. You won't get banned. If you boost with the same people then you will only gain EXP and NOT skill/rank. Nothing is too much.
