Ok, thanks. So (example) say you are boosting in Slayer, you play about 3 games, then you boost one game of swat. Then you go back to slayer (still playing with the same people). Can you rank up?

Thanks. And there will be more to come. I am currently making a tutorial on how to bridge with a crossover cable. I am also making a tutorial on how to bridge another xbox on the same network/connection. And I am researching how to standby for host in halo 3.

I can;t wait for those tuts. Keep em coming man. 1 question. The whole appearing offline thing. Does it make you appear offline for your entire session (ie the whole time when your xbox is on)? Because I signed in and out a couple times after doing that glitch and my friends said I was still appearing offline. I was just wondering if that is what is supposed to happen.

Everytime you sign back on it says that you are appearing online, so everytime you sign back on you have to go and appear offline.

So what is the significance of having to test the xbox live connection? Why cant you just appear offline and be done with it?

I'm not sure. It kind of locks it in some way. Because you can't just appear offline.

Wait, have you been doing this in social? You CAN'T do this in social, you will get banned. I hope not. I tried to make that as clear as possible in the tutorial.

This isn't dectectable in RANKED. If you do this in social it IS detectible. Just trying to clear that up.

People don't know how to read. This won't EVER rank you up if you do this. This is only to gain EXP. The way you rank up is by matching you with different people. In this tutorial you keep playing with the same people and won't rank up. Follow my other tutorial to rank up.

You almost never get banned for that. You can just quit normally and you most likely won't get caught. Just don't quit out of like 1,000 games and you'll be fine.

I quit out of like 30 games in a row and got a two week ban. From matchmaking, not exp.
