This works great if you have 2 party's of 2 and go into something that is 4v4. you need the bridgers to have all 4 players IP's in trusted and the bridgers have to be party leader. also works much better if the skill is close.

I did it in halo 2 also. But it's just more important in halo 3 because it's
1. Undetectible
2. You get skill from it unlike boosting with a full party.

Probably the first offense you would get a week ban, then second offense a month, and third is complete matchmaking ban forever.

Lets Say That the other person doesent want to go down could you get 4 people and put there ips in your trusted and get paired up with the same people all day?

You wouldn't gain any rank/skill doing that, only EXP. Then that would be like doing my other tutorial in my signature. You can check it out if you want, its the second to last one.

hey twis7ed i have a question Can you still bridge your connections like the way i do it i go to my connection on my computer okay then i have my xbox hooked up to my computer aswell as my modem hooked up to my computer then i highlight the connections in my connections on my pc the i click bridge connections will this tut work with that type of bridging? I'm Bridging without a router!!!

Yes, that is bridging with a crossover cable. I'm going to make a tutorial on how to do that. But you pretty much just summed up how to do it. Although you still might need to be plugged into a router, but you don't have to use cain.

So your not bridging in any way, your just putting your friends ip in zone alarm and when u search on high you filter everybody else but him? And you get two randoms.

Exactly. You just put your firewall down once you match with him so you can match with other players.

Twisted, do you have AIM/MSN or some form of instant messaging i can speak to you on. i really just cant get bridging to work man, so if i had someone who knows what there doing "troubleshoot" for me if you like, that would be really helpful. PM me iff you like, saves every forum visitor having your address.

I have another question. Why doesn't the other person you are trying to get matched up with have to be bridged and search on high as well? Wouldn't this make it easier? Because wouldn't the person you are searching for find a game almost instantly while you are not finding any games cause your firewall is on high?

I think you got the wrong end of the stick. Standbying is not so you get matched against someone you know, as you would not go up in skill that way, just gain EXP. You force them host and then they use the autostandby to make anyone who is not in your trusted zone lag like crazy. You and your team go round raping the other team so easily cos they cant kill you through the lag, resulting obviously in a win.

The other person can bridge and get matched with you also. It would make it easier that way. The only reason I didn't say that in the tutorial is because when I was doing it I was the only person bridging and the other person wasn't. It was still pretty easy my way, but if you can find another bridger then it would be even easier because you could both put each other in your trusted and instantly match with each other.

Because I actually tried this today and the problem we had was my friend (he wasn't bridging) got matched up with others right away while I had no one and was waiting for him. Any ideas? I am kind of surprised you didn't have this problem too.
