| Orgranize Commview This tutorial is to help you filter out connections that are not needed while playing games like Halo and is very helpful. Before asking, you MUST have a already bridged connection for Commview to recieve IP addresses, it is only to monitor connections made. Alright lets start it off.. 1. First, is a sorta well known rule, which is to only allow port 3074 in the IF Rules, Simple Rules, Port. I also use port 36659 too because some IPs connect from that as well. When adding, you should select Capture, then Both, and the port number, should look like this: ![]() Do the same with Port 36659 if wanted to (I suggest it). 2. Now that that part is done, I found a way to filter out the IPs recieved (being that it's ONLY ones from Xbox Live, aka people you play and Bungie). Well to start off, go IF Rules, Advanced Rules, then Formula. There are two of these so I usually name them Bungie 1 & 2. And be sure to click ignore packets. For the first Bungie Rules insert this into the box: Code: (sip from 65.59.234.0 to 65.59.234.255) or (dip from 65.59.234.0 to 65.59.234.255) Code: (sip from 65.55.42.0 to 65.55.42.255) or (dip from 65.55.42.0 to 65.55.42.255) ![]() Now we have set up Commview in order to ONLY allow connections from other players you may encounter and play with. This third and Final part is optional, but helps you not get your teammates/friends IP mixed with your opponents. 1. Right click your friends IP and click either Remote or Local (which ever is not the 192.168 one). ![]() 2. Simple enter a name (sometimes shows the hostname) and click add and ok, and your done!
