Bridging With a Laptop

I was wondering if its possible to bridge with a laptop that has a wireless card built in. I cant have the router and modem in my room because I have no phone jack in there. So I was wondering I can can somehow bridge without having to have my modem and router close by.

Well I am aware it works for halo 2 because I saw the tutorial there, ICS Bridging - Laptop/Wireless Bridging using Command Prompt
Since its from 2006 I'm not entirely sure if it works for halo 3. I asked for an answer not a smart remark.

Sry shepherd but i have to agree with razorr, you do make alot of rude comments about this. I understand if they ask some retarded question and you KNOW for a FACT that they didnt use teh search button but just lashing out at random people is gonna piss them off and they're going to completely ignore the search button. Im saying this to help out, not to be an @$$hole.

Re: Bridging With a Laptop

it is an answer
i can make a smart remark all i want, i can be obtrusive all i want, but that is besides the point
do you even know what bridging a connection means? It means this in the most simpilest terms:
"Take control of your Xbox Networking from your computer"
that means you can bridge through a laptop through ICS, network bridge, your can ARP reroute, etc., it just means taking control of your xbox
any way to do so should work, to force host, if not using cain, you would have to use the counting method, and if you are referring tu the just put firewall on high stuff, im not referring to how to force host, im referring to those tutorials to just gain control of your xbox and then ignore the rest
so blarg <3

Re: Bridging With a Laptop

my suggestion is to get 2 network cards? if its possible? because i think it'll be hard to bridge/play over a wireless link converted to wired link
