The Fastest Way to Get -Exp (De-Ranking)

I wasn't able to find this after searching around so I'll post it here. For whatever reason you want -exp for, whether it be the fast way to 50 trick, or just plain de-ranking, here's how you do it.
1. As soon as you're matched up with the other players during the pre-game lobby (the 10 second countdown before the game starts), open up your 360 menu.
2. Press X to sign out of you're profile
And that's pretty much it lol. Doing this saves alot of time. You get to skip the 10 sec countdown and the time it takes to load the map and quit out of the game.

Just sign back in after and find another match

It's easier to just join someone else's party once your in the game lobby.

And I Will Get +1 EXP

I wouldn't suggest doing this now (9/27/08) because bungie will ban you. After the release of the Title Update Bungie incorperated a new ban system and this is included. You get 1 warning, then a 2 week ban, then a perm ban.

Just so you'll know you can get banned for getting negetive EXP now.
Just thought ya'll should know, because people claim that they would have won the game if you were still there and a bunch of other hoop-blah.
If you don't believe me go to Halo 3 Disscusions on here and it's stickied for ya guys to find it easily.
All they say is that you "will" get banned but I'm assuming its an EXP banning not the entire banhammer coming at you at full strength.



Also its a good idea to have someone send you invites when you get a match. Say you have a nice friend to send you invites and your private chatting with him so he'll know. Or if he wants to play some games, have him do a couple of custom games but leave the party open. Same goes for forge.

I know I sound like a hypocrite buttt I figure a little ban isn't going to stop all of you.

Ive been de ranking 4 accounts at once for the past 2 days. Most people prefer me so they match with me for free exp. Anyways ill be boosting in 2v2 MLG Swat and Slayer.

It counts up like normal, an easieer way to lose XP is betray and get booted, you lose XP every few games your booted. I've gone down about 50 XP no warnings no ban, but I'm not guaranteeing it will work.

dont you get banned now for quitting or signing off of matches ?
I'm not sure, i haven't tried after the update
