Major problems with C&A and CommView

I'm using Windows XP and for some reason, I can't install Cain and Able. I get a permission error every time. I have no firewall right now just in case and that didn't help. On top of it, I tried to install CommView to use it for the IP logging and I can't find any IPs on Port 3074. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

I am an admin. I'm the only user of the computer. I got ZAP installed with no problem but I can't install C&A or get CommView to pull the IP's on the XBOX. It pulls IP's for everything else though.

commview wont work unless you are connected with cain, commview will only view what it can, what it can view is everything that is connecting through the compy, when you bridge your xbox, connections go through your compy therefore you can view them. thats why commview isnt showing them, so your main problem is cain

first try to make another admin acct and try installing it on that

if that doesnt work, boot in safe mode (turn of compy, turn on, hold F8, boot in safe mode with networking), and try installing cain that way

another thing you can for cain and able is right click then run as administrator. usually that does the ole trick
