HOw do you bridge with this setup

ok i guess it would be the same as a wireless router. but i have a computer with a usb plugin that lets my main computer up stairs hook up with the router downstairs through wireless connection.


NOw how would i use it to do all the bridging and standbying

So wait. Is your computer that you are trying to bridge off of wireless? If so then you cant do that unless you have a airpcap wireless adapter to capture the packets. Your xbox can be wireless but the computer that you want to bridge with has to be wired to the router.

no i dont think so, can you just make a bridge with the ethernet port and the wifi card? i think you can, but hook a crossover between your compy/sexbox, and that should work

Well yeah. But he was talking about a router. And to bridge with the router he would have to do as I say. Or he can make a legit bridge with his ethernet port and wifi connection like you said.

well, its hard to make out where his xbox is, he has only told us his comp is upstairs, for all we know he could be a hugh nub and his xbox could be sitting right next to him as he is typing, totally oblivious to the search button
