Halo 3 standbying tutorial

I have not written a tutorial myself on this, but I would like to inform everybody that standbying in halo 3 is basically the same as h2. I use zone alarm and cain and abel. I use cain to steal the ips connecting to me, I use zone alarm to block ips. I add all 3 bungie ip's then my friends. You all know everything you had to do in h2. We went into a game because I was skeptical about it not being the same. I got host the old way of hitting the stop button on "step 3" right before step 4. I dont know if that ended up giving me host or if i just had it anyway. Either way I was able to lag out the other team and standby them and hold them in redbar. If you are going to disagree with me on this pelase try it out for yourselves before you post "This doesnt work!!!" or something like that. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the power of standbying, I am happy to have it back.

(if you never knew how to standby before, I reccomend using a tutorial from the Halo 2 Bridging section. I think Krafty had the best one)

this sounds right gw but when i standby alot of games it goes into black screen but come back and i holding it on high to long or what ?

Im not sure about this as I just learned this. I have been running into the same problem and sometimes lagging myself out. I will post this when I figure it out but until then I will keep searching for a solution

you will lag out if you keep it on high for about 6 seconds or more

yeah I knew about that part but I sometimes hold it for 2-3 and I lag out

just standby in objective type games. that way you wont have to standby as much. and in TS just standby to get weapons then turn it off.

Yeah I have just been standbying to get weapons I am a legit lvl 38 but now that I can standby again if I start losing thats the only time I standby

i was setten my macro as 1.5 on high then 3 seconds on off but for some reason it works some games real good but others u go in black screen then it comes back dunno if the other team is trying to do something but it usualyl works never get lagged out just the black screen problem

how do you know when to press the stop button on your zonealarm cuz on here the matched players don't disappear and thats how i knew when to press it

theres the hard part. Just make a guess and dont hold stop down for too long or you will just lag yourself out

Bad kids standby because they can't get weapons and win Objective games. This site really turned into a hangout for trash players trying to cheat to get a rocket launcher. Good job nerds. :laughing:
