[Tutorial] Unlocking New Armor in Halo 3

So I've gotten all of the achievements, unlocked everything except the 5th Elite shoulder armor, how do I go about getting that one?

Yeah , i have 1000/1000 and dont have commando shoulders

false, you get the scout shoulders from the Mongoose Mowdown.... unless bungie screwed up and gave them to me and my friends once we got that acheivement, not even having were in for some chop.. lol thanks for this tho

It is possible to get a "fire" helmit if Bungie likes your forge map right?

Firstly its the recon armor that causes the flames, not the helmet.

Second, it is next to impossible to get it. You just have to be lucky and pray. They won't give it to you just for liking a forge map.

eeeerrrr..... its the Bungie Armour that grants the wearer a flaming helmet and there is no way to get it unless you work for bungie and not bungie.net

Yeah although the recon armor is pretty sweet, I'm not willing to buy a capture card to get a 1 in 1000 chance to get the recon. Its more problems than its worth. Someone who had recon even got his account hacked three times. I think security is great and for those who like recon, scout should be close enough. By the way, great job finding all of the ways to unlock armor (I was clueless the first time I played)
