boosting for achievements possible?

has anyone found a way to go into ranked matches with friends to screw around & make achievements?

hitting someone with a mongoose is damn near impossible... let alone hard enough to kill them.

2 for 1 with the spartan laser? ...unlikely

two for one with the laser is easy if you play capture the flag b/c usually people will get two people on the mongoose, so just shoot the mongoose

I dunno, I was hoping to come here and find a way. I suppose you could do the circle boosting like in Halo 2 (if that's even possible), but that will get you banned

I'm sorry but there should be some kind of guideline where achievements should be feats of skill that don't necessarily count solely on luck in a chance happenstance of opportunity

Two for one you can't get with CTF, because it's an FFA achievement.

And killing someone with a mongoose isn't too hard, just play a game on FFA and if there's a mongoose on the map just run around with it the whole game.

It took me two games, but I eventually just caught a sniper and ran him over.

I hope someone finds a way I'd like to get my overkill achievement, I managed to get triple kill and triple with sword but that 4th is hard to get. I'm fair at halo just not great =D

Actually we found a way to boost for one achievement although it's one you really shouldn't have to boost for. The one where you board someone after they've just boarded you can be done in social slayer FFA, preferably when you have a party of 6 or 8. The only downside is that you don't very often get a map with a vehicle.

Step One: Find four people of similar level and rank who are all willing to achievement boost with you (also very good if they can take directions well, live in your country/near you, and are near a computer, so you can all chat while the game plays on).

Step Two: All of you join a party, and make sure to prefer all of your fellow boosters.

Step Three: Go into xbox 360 Dashboard and change your language to something obscure, like Portugese. Tell your four friends to do the same (same language).

Step Four: Every booster needs to remove each other from their friends list. Everyone get into their own party. It is really helpful to have some form of communication between all of you.

Step Five: Press X, in matchmaking settings, tell it to search for people with "My Language". Make your partners do the same.

Step Six: Start matchmaking as simultaneously as possible.

Hopefully, you all got matched together. If there are others in the game(not your boosters), just send them bad feedback so you wont get them next time, and try again.

Dunno if this could be used to circle boost (one player gets eighth, other four get first?)

i tried the whole boosting thing...but i think one of the guys was on my buddy list...maybe thats why i couldnt get in the game?
