Why does bungie give Australians host?

Bungies host choices is the main reason, plus getting bs'd in halo 3 all the time, why I starting forcing host in halo 3. (i never did it in halo 2 but i knew how).

dont get me wrong i love aussies... but on xbox live they are hell on earth. Every game I get pure yellow bar off the start I know why, aussie host. I go into their profiles, and guess what? Location - Australia, they even call us "yow baaayd" in aussies accents.

It pisses me off to no end, I KNOW they have host because i put 8 shots into them and nothing happens but then i get 4 shotted? and they are full green whilst me and my team mates are yellow. then, lol, the jump in the air and the second im goign to rizzaype 4 shot them guess what? they do that jesus neo matrix teleport through the air thing and my shot completely misses whilst 100% of their shots hit. and bungie are against cheating? ROFL. what they do is the same as cheating. so they can screw themselves. this is not a rant i just want to know am i the only one who experiencing this "im yellow bar but you lag for me yet i dont lag for you" - on australian host or have other peolpe experienced it as well.

ive had to standby myself to green bar, i shouldnt have to do that but guess bungie doent care.

Wow this is full of **** I'm australian and I never get host unless I bridge seriously man whenever I play I search good connection and it usuallly finds Australians and like 1 American and guess who gets host the american of course and it's shiit assss connection LOL

Kid get over it, it's a game. More than likely, you run out there and they just straight up 4 shot you before you can even get 2 shots in. Also, in the middle of almost every game, it'll switch host so if you're yellow bar half the game, sit back, then when you're green bar, if you're as good as you think you are, than you can go out there and dominate.

Also, if may just be your connection, I used to be yellow bar every game, then I got a better wireless router + a signal booster and now I'm green bar every game.

Whoever has the better Host record in that game gets host regardless of what Country you are in. And other countries feel the same way when we (americans) get host or any other country for that matter.

I'm Australian and it seems i'm yellow bar every game!!!! But to be honest it doesn't really bother me. Gives me an excuse if i do ****. But when i bridge the connection is so much better. Full green bar for me is like host x5.
Your probably just playing at like 5 in the morning so there is more Aussies on then Americans. Thus Australians are getting host.
Aussies don't pull host over Americans very often. Only in extreme circumstances. (Bridging, or when its really early in the morning in america.

They give them host because they probably have a better connection than anyone else in the game. If you don't like it and want to get host more, get a better connection.

I have friends from Australia on my list, and some of their connections to my US connection is better than some of my cheap dsl ppl on my FL

it matters more on where the majority of people are, and what your latency is, i.e how far you are from your box. and yea most of you get host over us because 90% of all australians dont have an upload greater than 1mb.

and i would say on halo aussie's play 70% of the time on american host, so please host so please don't give us crap about it, because you would not get as much games on our servers than we get on yours.

im australian!!! and my team usually pull host around 90% of the time because they have really good latency but in anything ranked besides squad battle i bridge ALL THE TIME!!!!!!! just in case because its so much easier pwning you bk americans on aussiee host. RoFlzzzz

Do you have any proof to this statement you have made? Or are you angry that people have better bandwidth than you and or are bridging host and the location of the host is in Australia? You ever heard of dumb luck? The likely hood of that happening perhaps? Winning the lottery? All reside under the universal law which we still debate about called "luck" or "luck of the draw." But also coming from a networking degree, I can also tell you that the likelihood of that being true is almost completely impossible otherwise there would be more guys/girls like you *****ing from America and since Bungie is not from another continent or country, I can conclude that your statement is 99.9 percent likely to be false.

Really, all of the Aussies that I play with have a horrible connection, and I am always Green bar. Maybe it's just yours...as for the aussie that posted above...I'd watch what you say, you don't want to get banned now...

seriously, who cares, if it means that much to you, invest in a better connection or quit complaining, and even if that still isn't enough move, there is not much you can do about it so learn to deal with it.
