Okay the other day i was reading the TU Update FAQ by SketchFactor,

I read sorta far down the list of FAQ's
and saw this

Q: Can you please clarify exactly how the “7 on 7” achievement will be earned?

A: You will get this achievement once you hit 7 EXP in any single playlist on the 7th of the month. For example, you could have 5 EXP in Team Slayer and then on 10/7 go in and win 2 more games, hitting a total of 7 EXP and unlocking the achievement. If you already have 7 EXP or greater in a playlist before the 7th of the month, you won’t be able to earn the achievement in that playlist. We will be releasing a new playlist on the 7th of the month in which everyone will start with zero EXP. In this playlist, you have a clean slate and can just focus on earning 7 EXP before the end of the day. The first chance to earn this will be on 10/7.

He says on 10/7 there will be a new playlist.
Well if you look some of the new achievements that require mythic maps are infection based achievements.

So here it is, My theory is that on 10/7 they will release an infection playlist along with the mythic map pack so people can get those cerain achievements.

Wow, I did not realize that one bit. This is very possible to happen. The only thing is that the maps should have a release date a little while before they actually come out. Since it is september 30th and there hasn't been a release date, it is hard to say they will be coming out on the 7th. It could be a week from the new playlist coming out or a couple of days after.

It is hard to say, but you have to remember that bungie gave us a few days warning before the release of Cold Storage, and it's very possible that the only thing holding them back from a release date is the word that they can. Just read through the weekly updates and what you'll hear about the release is "When we get the OK", and correct me if I'm wrong, but there's usually something about them informing us right away. So yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..............

Oh ya, and if anything wait tell Thursday. Might be another trailer or info (The trailer came out last thursday). And if that doesn't work read the next weekly update. God knows I will.

The mythic map pack will be out before the end of November i can guarentee ( it was mentioned in a bungie update)

How much notice they will give is another question.

Cold storage was free so they didnt have to put much advertisement to it. That will be why they only told us a couple of days before it came out.

The Mythic pack will be different. Because its highly doubtfull that it will be free, they will have to charge and because there charging they will need to advertise the map pack to get people to buy it.

I think they will give us around 2-3 weeks notice at a minuimum

Ok I was reading somewhere, where someone thought it would cost a whole lot to get them since it's going to have like 6 maps with it. As for the waiting thing I agree, I read on the update that they are waiting on their partners to release any information.
What I really want to find out is what this Sandbox is going to be like. I heard someone else say it was going to be an outside foundry LIKE map. I hope so. I think it would be awsome to have a map that could be as tall as Sandtrap where the boundry is way up in the air, and there isn't much to block the way, like the cranes on the cieling.
I think they should just release a picture one seperate map each week or day until the day they come out. Just my thoughts.

No they have have been saying there is a new playlist coming, they just put it on this day so you can have one of your playlist that is below 7exp so you can get the achievement. Just incase you have more than 7 exp in each playlist already.

Yeah I remember reading that one. I'm mainly just bringing up the maps, and the cost of the maps. I hope they don't cost a lot. I know they are putting a new playlist for the 7th, but they didn't say anything about maps. They did say that with the new achievements there were origianly suppose to like 10 but they added all the others just to get ahead of themselves. The did appologize for the fact that we have to look at all the ones we can't get until the new maps came out, but again never posted a date.

The mythic maps aren't going to be released until early january. When they showed the trailer vid for the new maps it said 1/7/09 which is probably going to be the release date for them.

Each mappack they have released were like 4-5 months....and just because you saw that doesnt mean its the date the mythic maps come out....the campaign expansion will be seperate.

Please if you read the Bungie weekly updates you would know they set a deadline for the end of november to release them!!!

Ok to start off, thank you for informing us of this, but at the same time do you have to be rude with it. I do understand that it probably jerked your chain that someone didn't go to the Bungie page to check their information first before posting on a compleatly diffrent site about a topic that is related. Keep in mind that just because you knew something, doesn't mean everyone should. I'm hoping that he did do a little bit of research before just typing pointless things, but sometimes it happens, just let it go. Just and be happy. I guess I'll see if they posted anything about the price yet.
