TU2 Team Swat

I was playing team swat ball with a friend right after the update came (from Australia so it was like 8:00pm here). Our team was winning 147 - 40 or something.
Suddenly it goes into black screen and only shows the scoreboard. I was still talking to my friend fine and stuff.
Then the scoreboard disappears for about 10 seconds and shows that the other 3 guys on my team quit aswell as 2 guys from the other team.
I get into private chat with my friend and he says the same thing with him, except he's with the people that quit on my screen.
I still decide I want to win the game for my team (even though my friend had already won the end of the game) so I keep on playing and owning the 2 nubs on the other team.

I was just wondering if this had anything to do with the TU2 update, because we were green connection the whole game. Bungie might need to come up with a new update to fix the TU2 update.

EDIT: We were the 3 people with the lowest score and I just checked bungie.net and I got -EXP for quiting.

Thats lag. It's happened to be before, everyone leaves on my screen, but everyone else says I left.

Thought it might be. It was the first time its happened to me before and it just happened to be after TU2
