The Big Halo Blue..Figured Out?

Alright well i was searching on the web and everything....Halo Blue is just a big map pack that comes on a disc to buy at a local store (best buy etc) And I dont know when the release date is but im guessing from info on the internet Sept. 25th

Well i mean they are with bungie...Thats Microsoft saying that already..Its like a tut if the disc doesnt work on your 360.

It is not Midship, it was stated by Bungie the map they call "Purple Reign" is not a remake of Midship or made in anyway to look like Midship. If I get the link of them saying that I will post it. I can also get you the real name of the map, "Purple Reign" is only the nickname for that map. Plus, I think the disk itself will be called Halo 3 Mythic. There is a picture of a screen showing this in the pictures from PAX.

Anyway, this seems pretty cool. I now believe about the new achievments since it will be on a seperate disk. Hmm, hidden skulls on Multiplayer maps seems pretty cool. I can see me and a full party of friends on a skull hunt.

One thing i would like to say though, is that only 10 or fewer achievements can be added through dlc. Yes i think there will be new achievements, but no i don't think that many of them will make it.

The Halo 3 Maps are going to be on a disk that you can buy at a game store or anywere else you buy games. So it won't be DLC if that what you were saying.

Also, I found the name of the map. The name of the map is Assemble that is known as the name "Purple Reign". Pictures are here at the bottom of this page Bungie.net : Inside Bungie : News.

Probable not since Bungie themselves stated that Assembly know as "Purple Reign" has nothing to do with midship. It is not a remake of Midship, they didn't get any ideas for this from Midship, therfore it probable will be named Assemble, Purple Reign, or somthing else.

I havent heard of anything called Halo Blue yet, but If there is actually a disk that will be coming out with new maps then isnt that just a waste of disks? considering the last 2 mappacks were in XBL. and the Avhievements are going to come along with the Halo3 Title update.
