I tried my bro's xbox who never cheats but his is banned in halo 3 which makes me think it has something to do with the IP. If i connected through a proxy server, Do you think i may be able to play a new account and not be banned. When i sign in on any account at the moment it says i am banned from matchmaking for 3 months  | ||||||

Well i inserted halo 3 into my Bro's xbox and it said "This xbox has been banned from mathcmaking for 3 months" which means It HAS to do with your IP. So surely if i could hide my ip, Then i could unban myself? Does anyone have a version of a hide IP softwear and key that i could use? | ||||||

If you were caught network cheating, then if your bro also uses the same internet access, then at the time of the ban, they will see that his xbox is also connected. Then bungie simply bans them both at the time of the ban. It has nothing to do with your ip, and it's by the console's serial number. There are only two ways to get around this: - Get a new 360 either by buying a new one, or RRoD yours and send it in. - Using an infectus chip, navigate to your NAND dump, decrypt it, change the console's serial number, resign it, re-encrypt it, write it back, upgrade to the newest dash. Your best bet is option number one. Also, if you can't wait that long to play halo 3, play something better like Gears, CoD4, or battlefield. | ||||||
