dual energy sword

a fair warning, ive never modded anything before. and ive always wanted to dual energy swords. how the hell (in detail) do u do it?

Load up the map. Load up dotHalo. Go into the weap tag. Select the energy sword. Check the box that says "dual weildable"

u lost me on dot halo. i dont actually own thegame, but my friend does and we play it alot, and i was jsut gonna do it on his copy of it. and if there's any software he needs todownload, he hasnt yet. seriously though, baby steps.

1.) Slap your friend for being an idiot

(if you have a 360, buy XSATA and skip to step 5)

2.) Purchase splinter cell, mech assult, or 007 agent under fire (NON PLATINUM VERSIONS)

3.) Purchase action replay

4.) Read up on some of the software modification tutorials (softmod), and install the software onto your xbox.

5.) FTP (or use XboxHDM if you're on 360) and navigate to E:TDATA:4de....64, and then you'll find the .map files for the download packs in there.

6.) Transfer them to your computer and use some of the many programs on this website to edit them.

7.) Resign and ftp back.

8.) Play, and if you want to go onto xbox live look up a softmod uninstall tutorial.


That's as basic as it gets without a 10 page tutorial

Nope, just one of them.

And make sure it's not a platinum hits version (and that it's the FIRST splinter cell, FIRST mech assult, and FIRST 007 (agent under fire)

There's an exploit in the code in one of those 3 games that allows it to load un-signed gamesaves.

AKA it allows you to boot software that will allow you to access the maps to modify for Halo.

Or you could hotswap and put the maps on there.

Hotswapping means that you open up your xbox, unplug your xbox HDD while its on, hook it up to your computer, and putting the maps on there.

so ok. my friend (whom we'll call bob) is the one with the xbox and halo 2. he bought it from my other friend (jim) who has the original mech assault and splinter cell, and saved everything on his hard drive, which is now in bob's possesion. does that meanthe exploitation is already in bob's xbox and i dont need the game anymore?

If it has a different dashboard than the default, yes.

Otherwise, no.

(as the exploitation is in the game itself, not the game being put into the xbox)
