Alright... no Bungie, no MicroSoft, no 'Halo-nuts'... just me asking those that actually own the game: (and NOT comparing it to any other game, except Halo 1 and 2) What do you think about it? Is it (so far) THE GAME that it was hyped up to be? I'm partial to more "realistic" games (and sports), but I am enjoying this so far. Multiplayer is ridiculous - I mean there are so many options that we'll be playing this game for YEARS. That's good. Once I get a little more familiar with the menus (confusing as hell) I'll be good to go. Single player?? Hmmm... for ME, it's gotten worse over the last two games. And it's not bad at all actually, but definitely the weakest point of the game to me, and nowhere near as fun as the original Halo was. They tweaked the AI - Normal is easy for toddlers... Heroic is the Legendary from Part 2. The only gripe I have with the game is the AI of my teammates while playing solo. Why are my Marines and the Arbiter so damn DUMB on this game? Every time I look up, he's flying through the air after getting blasted by something - the Marines just stand still at times and don't engage ANYBODY. And when they drive - sweet Jesus. Just a bit frustrating. We all know and understand that the money is in playing online, but damn. The game looks pretty good, sounds wonderful... and with all the options - almost TOO many - you GOTTA give the replay value a '15' on a scale of 1-10. Overall, I'd give it a solid 9.5/10, and that's me not really liking the run-n-gun, strafe and jump 10 feet in the air type of game. What do you think about it so far? | ||||||
