Why do I ****ing lag out

I can play customs for hours and hours, day long (I don't, just saying).
And yet EVERY time I go into matchmaking I lag out. WHY.
I have to start troubleshooter and it gives me Xbox Live failed twice, then it says it's alright.

I have tried talking to Xbox Live but they are dumb****s.

It is pretty much JUST matchmaking, like I have modded maps or something (which I NEVER have touched stuff with my 360).

P.S. I can record a video of it doing it if you all wish.

um go to ur 360 dashboard then memory then push "Y" and do the CLEAN CHACHE code its Y, X, X, LB, RB, X, X and a message will come up saying do u want to do maintnence on ur xbox360 select yes, then when its done go to halo and a update will be avaliable do it then go into matchmaking and u shouldent get lagged out or kicked or whatever happens 2 u
