halo 2 killtrocity, cant load maps on kai when someone else hosts a game

I play online with xlink kai and i was tryin to play killtrocity, everytime i try to load a game from another host, it says "You failed to load the map" and when everyone else joins a game I host, they leave so im assumeing they cant load a map from me. Is there any way to fix this? ive turned off all my firewalls, Also i dled it as a .iso file and just burned it.

(NOTE: I can play the game, just cant connect with anyone due to map failiures)

The files on the main menu in kiltrocity don't match up with the main menu registry for each map.

Know what that means?

In kiltrocity, when someone loads lockout, kiltrocity tries to load the first map that's on the list of maps for you to play. It could be any map, but it's not lockout.

So you don't load it.

And when you host and load lockout, for them it's probably burial mounds or something on their HDD, and then they can't load it.

There is no way to "fix" it.



The two ways to play those maps:

1.) Have both of the people playing have the same kiltrocity pack

2.) Figure out what the names of each .map file are. Put Halo 2 onto your HDD, and rename the modded kiltrocity map to whatever the name of the original map was (lockout, zanzibar, etc.) and replace the clean map on your HDD. Easier done then said.

i don't understand, y does it work fer the other ppl, (i was just online and it said that they had a game in progress of a 7 on 7 game of team slayer on mischief night but when i tried to join it said failed to load map. so i dont understand what u mean
