Also, sorry if this map is one above, but I want to mod Lockout and Ascencesion, but they arn't in the folders 4D53006400000001,4D53006400000002,4D53006400000003 ,4D53006400000004

Where do I look or can they be modded.

Sorry about being a beginner, but we all have to learn once I guess.

well as for the two maps, their the new ones. I havnt really messed with them myself but im sure theres a thread somewhere about them. As for your other three maps, they should be either on the disk or the hard drive. how is your halo2 set up?

Oh and i know how it is with starting. we all started somewhere. hell even Iron_Forge started as a n00b.

What do you mean? What system am I playing on? If thats what you are asking then xbox.


Also I am tring to play a custom game on a modded map with a friend, he for some reason always fails to load the map. Did I do something wrong?

I dont know. All of my maps so far have been system linkable. I would check the Halo2 mod help, forum as well as the Halo2 help forum. They might help better than i can.

No my friend just has to re-download all the maps. But, if I get host on one of my modded maps will I be able to mod on the map? And will everyone or just me be able to mod if I can?

that depends. sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. the only way to find out is to try it. theres no sure-fire way of telling until you try.

Well I got host and I was modding but then It just instantlly said Network issues or something and kicked me off live. Wtf.

yeah, playing live isnt the best thing to do when modding. u prolly got banned. You can play XbConnect. its like live, only free. It takes alittle getting used to but its really awesome. you can mod and they dont care. basically what it does is trick your xbox into thinking its system linking with other people. and you are, but your doin it through the internet. just look up xbox connect. its easy to install, easy to use.

Do you still get to play your games? Like play halo 2 online or what?

yeah. its like the free version of xbox live. You need your friend to get it too, but still. its not hard to use. you just go under "System link" instead of "Xbox Live." You can find your own game and everything. I've been using it for years.

umm im not quite sure what you mean. You can do custom games. you dont gain rank though. at least im pretty sure you dont.
