Wtf is circle boosting?

What is it, and do you need any fancy equipment? I heard it's something like you block every connection except for a few(3 for DT, 7 for TS) IPs, go in with a full party for the playlist, and you will match up with the other boosting party who also has a full party and they quit out, giving you rank.

Is that it? And does every person circle boosting need to be able to bridge or standby or do something weird to circle boost? I kinda want a symbol rank, but I don't have anything to offer.

I can't do anything(standby, bridge, or mod, etc) but if anybody helps me out I have another account that I can help another team circle boost with. I want a symbol rank(anything higher than 43 is fine) and if you help me, I can contribute to you on a different account ranked 1.
