well u just take the side panel off ur computer unscrew the scews then after u can see the dvd drive take it out so u can like hold it and then just take it apart but if u dont want to do that then just try doing the paperclip trick because ive got it to get to 7% with another computerusing the paperclip trick but we most likely have diff dvd drives so it might still not work

well ive gotton pretty far since i last posted i broke one of my dvd drives so im using a version B samsung and im having a little trouble finding out how the freak people h hell l people get the SDG605B.BIN file but im probably just going to get a version A drive because this takes way to long even though im practically at the last step i just need that file so thats where im at anyway

It's ok to bump tutorials..if you have a reasonable cause. Have you tried asking for help with parts or discussing what you did with anyone in this thread? If not give it a try before you go out and spend money on a modded disc..

well tbh i dont know anything about pcs n stuff
took ma ages to follow the tut and i have the 0% problem
n with my grea knowledge of pcs i dont fancy messing around with the drive
av got all the sppfs n stuff could even send the discs out or what ever a dont min paying

How come when i go to hotswap and i put in the dvd-r disc it just makes a weird noise and dosent read the disc

When shoving the drive closed, do it slowly its a little less than half way closed, then shove the drive closed fast and semi-hard. If you still hear weird noises, try it again. If you hear your drive spinning the disk smoothly, and it still does not work, then you may need to recreate your disk (the brand of DVD-R is most likely your problem at this point, unless you have confirmed that the specific brand you're using works) PS: Sorry to bump up this topic, but at least I'm attempting to help
