I just finished your tutorial, just figured I'd let everyone know the problem I had just incase anyone else has this problem.

WXRipper stopped my drive, but wouldn't start it up again. When I hit my emergency eject button, and swapped discs, it wouldn't read the halo disc and kept failing at 0%. I also tried fast switching, but I guess my DVD drive just prevents that. I wound up having to combine this tutorial and the DVD drive disassembly in M4H's tutorial (which is alot easier than it seems, any novice with half a brain should be able to do it).

But other than that, everything else works great, good tut +thanks.

No we will delete all the files EXCEPT (both IMAGE000 files and IMAGE002). You file should no look like this.
in the top picture there is 3 different IMAGE000's IMAGE000,IMAGE000, and IMAGE000.000 which two ?
and at the bottom pic were did the IMAGE002 come from becuase in the fisrt pic there isnt one ??

Notice how there's an IMAGE000.dvd in the first pic? Well in the second pic the name was just changed to IMAGE002.dvd

It was probably just taken from two different people or two different rips.

can someone help me again please? when i try to rip h2 to my raw dump folder with isobuster, i get the error at 0% instead of 7%.. is this a problem or does it not matter?

it probably means that you cant hotswap[someone correct me if im wrong] with the DVD drive you have. you can use the other tutorial similar to this, except that in the other one, it requires dismantling your dvd drive. i had the same problem, but i did the disassemble and it worked. i am not telling you to do it, so i am in no way responsible for what happens to your dvd drive because of your mistakes or incompetence^_^

Read my post at the top of this page. I had same problem, my previous post tells how to fix it.

you cant do it on your laptop unless you take it apart or buy a USB dvd drive like i did

Again, if this happens, the only way I have found to date was my fix which I said earlier. Otherwise, you're SOL
