Do the layer break tut....search for LAYER BREAK, that makes it work

I have tried this tutorial 5 times, and I hotswap, but the only map that works is midship. I use Halo2 iso editor v2 edited for injecting midship, and the original one for every other map. everything is resigned correctly, the same way as midship, and I only have one disk left to try.(and the dvd burner is 'borrowed' from my dad). I use a samsung 605F.
Please for the love of ....Me, help.

Scratch that, I can use all of the old maps from the disk, but only on the first map I load, all the other maps fail. Does not matter which I load first, it always works, but no other old maps do.

Yes manbearpig thats what happens with all samsungs one of the moders on my odding team noticed that and he bought a new drive. I suggest if you have the money get a hitachi they work flwlessly with modding the old maps they only cost $40 at the most.

Where could I find a Hitachi dvd drive? I looked on ebay and there were only PAL drives. I can't find any stores that carry one either.

Ebay just search xbox hitachi it should cost around $40.

hey i need help with this.... everytime i hotswap it says i failed to load every map?? is it because i dont have the mainmenu map modded?

PLZ HELP ME WITH THE STUPID SS PATCHER....DO YOU AIM!!! mine is obassisto every time i go to image tools it doesnt allow me to click on image browser

ok so i get everything right without problems utill i try to burn the modded disk. i open up cloneCD and pick the iso file but when i hit next a window pops up saying "waiting for TSST corp CD-R/RW SH-R522C..." and it just stays up. i have kept it up for almost 17 hours and it still hasent done anything. how do i fix it

XxMoNkEy42xX Yup, I'm High.	Yes manbearpig thats what happens with all samsungs one of the moders on my odding team noticed that and he bought a new drive. I suggest if you have the money get a hitachi they work flwlessly with modding the old maps they only cost $40 at the most.
