Not completely true. I used the paper clip method and it worked fine. I had a few errors at 0 but I was not hotswapping fast enough. If you use the paperclip method make sure you do it fast so your drive does not timeout.

wow, im getting the most screwed up problem, ok so i have everything set up, i put in pearl harbor, a window pops up asking me to play it, i click no, then i open iso buster, iso buster doesnt detect the movie for some reason, it just says blank dvd, and then i click refresh like a million times and its not working, please help =/

The link for dvd info doesnt look the same and i tried to click the set as default for DvD-rom but it didnt work.

ok, so everything worked perfectly for me after going throught an entire stack of dvd+r DL god those cost so much

i had that same problem, not all dvd drives support booktype bitsettings, if it doesnt chances are your firmware is old, i updated mine and now it works like a charm

codeguys.rpc1.org - Firmwares

check that site for firmware upgrades, it has almost all dvd drives

You can't burn to a CD you need to burn to a DVD-dual layer or -r/+r

i got to the point where u use ss_patcher and u hit image browser and when i hit that it pops up with an error saying:
"run-time error '339'

Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

does anybody no how to fix that^^^^

i tried this tutorial like 10 times and all of them failed to load all maps .....
i followed the TUT EXACTLY as it says n it didn't work......... is it my xbox drive thing???
its a phillips!!!!

Can someone please upload a clean raw dump so that we can just inject our maps with whatever mods we want...

Before you say anything I have tried numerous tutorials...

IF someone could upload a clean .iso it would save everyone a whole lot of trouble...

the power cord from my computers disc drive does not match the yellow power cord from the xbox disc drive, and it will not fit, what do i do?

and i have a phillips disc drive which has a metal plate over where the magnet is located, do i need to try and get it or can i hot swap with out the magnet?
