All New Map Mainmenu Patches

It just doesn't make sense that all of the other maps work, but Lockout won't. So, if anybody has found out why this is so yet; please keep us up to date and let us know.

Here's my guess, if anybody cares:

I think that Lockout had an update that we didn't know about. Now, to get lockout to work, we might have to edit the lockout map itself like we had to do with the Desolation & Tombstone maps. If somebody could help me out with this, that would be great!

Lockout worked right after I update to halo2 1.1 with the multiplayer map pack dvd of bungie..

Simply rename the /E/TDATA/4d530064/$C folder to ANYTHING else!

As I said earlier, they updated lockout. By renaming the $C folder, you are disabling all updates!

I honestly think you should add this part to your tutorial.

Well, thanks for the help guys, the tut was great, and now I can play my game with no problems and use the trainer on any map I want!

ok if u did add them to the mainmenu.map other ppl would not bealbe to load them so thier would be no point as in doing that ppl would have to have the patched mm.map

best why do do this is to go download the xbl h2 update from the site and over write the h2 defalut.xbe on ur hdd and put the new maps in where the old new maps are

$u Udate
$c maps folder
E\halo2 defalut.xbe over write it with the updated verison
F\halo2 defalut.xbe over write it with the updated verison

I believe there are tutorials on that.
Also to DL serenity at halomods you have to be a member.

OMG AM SO HAPPY ive dont it apart from when i go to my maps in halo 2 it has this in the list (main manu new maps) and it sez waiting 4 everybody to load the map is it supposed to say that???!!!

when i try to patch highplains in it says "source map does not match the original, continue?", how do I fix this?
