help me with yelo trainer

Before posting questions about Yelo. Read through everything below:

• Can't see my new map with Yelo.

1. Yelo disables the Auto Update to function. The Auto updated contains the mainmenu plugin for the new maps.
2. That means Yelo technically disables the new maps.
3. To avoid this, simply add the new maps physically to your mainmenu, so it's in the actual mainmenu.map file, not just a separate plugin.
4. Get the patch for the new maps on the mainmenu here: All New Map Mainmenu Patches.
5. After you have patched the mainmenu, transfer the all the new maps along with your mainmenu to your halo 2 maps folder on your Xbox.

• I can't move with Yelo, the controls won't work

1. This is actually a common problem. You can only have 1 controller plugged into your Xbox for Yelo to work.
2. Simply unplug everything from your Xbox but 1 controller.

• Yelo won't boot Halo, it just flashes.

1. This is happens when you don't have the "config v1.5.inc" in E:\TDATA\4D530064\
2. Get the file from the Yelo download, then transfer it to that directory on your Xbox.

• Problems getting the pictures from my Xbox, the program won't open.

1. You need .Net Framework v2 to run the Xbox Raw Screenshot Deswizzler. Get it here: .Net Framework v2
2. Another problem may be caused by Vista. If you are running Vista, and you have .Net Framework V2, read on.
3. Right click the Screenshot Deswizzler exe file, properties, compatibility, then check "Disable Desktop Composition." It should open now.

• Can't see the Yelo trainer in Xored.

1. This means you either:
   • You don't have the Yelo trainer in the correct place.
     • Transfer your Yelo trainer to "E:\Apps\mini(Xored)\Trainers"
   • You don't have the trainer location path set correctly.
     • Open the "Xored.ini" file in Notepad. Find these line of code:
       

       # 1 trainer path only 
       Trainers_Path = "C:\Trainers" 
       #Trainers_Path = "C:\Trainers"
       

       Replace it with this:
       

       # 1 trainer path only 
       Trainers_Path = "E:\Apps\mini\Trainers" 
       #Trainers_Path = "E:\Apps\mini\Trainers"
       

     • Save, exit, and transfer back to your Xored apps folder.

• Other problems...

Use a clean mainmenu. Read the whole post, don't just stupidly download the patch try it and ask questions... you waste peoples time.....

Ok... I don't quite understand what the problem is for me... I turn on all of the options specified in your tut on taking pics, start the game (from my HDD), and load up my map... Everything is fine... My map loads with no problems and I can move around the map and function just as I could if the yelo trainer was off... But the problem is that NONE of the buttons specified in the layout configuration work... I use to have yelo on my xbox a while back and the only thing I used it for was freezetime (which did work)... But nothing happens for any of the buttons now... I know the trainer is functioning because the camera is screwed up when I enter a vehichle... I FTP'd the config_v1.5.INC into the E:TDATA/4d530064 file as instructed, and I've gone through and deleted everything and tried it several times from start to finish with the same results... Invicibility , inf. ammo, inf. nade, etc. all work... Just wondering if you know the reason why it won't work...

Do you have only 1 controller plugged in?

Yep, I even removed my dvd sensor, that was my first assumption...

Then it should work. Are you using the correct controls?

Most certainly... I went ahead and skipped on to getting pictures from my xbox, and apparently something is def. wrong because I had almost 1,000 old pictures taken from when I had originally had yelo on my xbox (they were strung together as if yelo was automatically taking pictures for almost 5 minutes) and then about 150 or so pictures from my first run at yelo this time around... I cleared all the pictures, but it did nothing... Still can't get the controls to work...

You are probably missing file.

Well, idk... Like I said, I followed it correctly... I just think it might be another file messing with it or maybe some how I corrupted something... My mods and all still work, so I'm not too worried about it, I'll just have to make sure I get it straightened out before I get ready to post any mods (cuz what's a mod without some highquality, make you wanna pee your pants in anticipation, uber cool pics???) It's a great post though and I'm going, right now, to give thanks cuz, technically, it did work... And thanks for trying to help me out here...

How do you use Yelo to get the AI to work and i have what i think makes AI visible but it still doesnt work. n e ideas?

yes im using the AI war containment mod and the 300 gemini MP-BP mod. Why dont the ai work

I'm going to be honest, I don't know for sure what it is... But A friend of mine and myself have had a few problems with the AI War Containment mod while using Yelo... I tried turning off certain options like "inf. nades" or "inf. health" and it worked... I haven't used it since, but my friend toggeled different options and it worked... I'm not sure what it is, but I've heard of it happening like this for several people... Best thing I can say is play with it and see if it works... But for no explainable reason, it doesn't work for some people... Sorry...

ok im going to explain could sum 1 plz help me with this ok here we go i have yelo .INC file in the TDATA 4d530064 ok and i made a $s folder and i have xored installed and i have the halo remaped ai revision in the games section and xored in the apps section and i have yelo.etm in the trainers folder and i have one controller plugged in and nothing else and when i go to the xored launcher it opens up normaly and then this is wher my problem occurs i click halo 2 and NOT A THING HAPPENS EVEN THE SCREEN DOESNT FLASH does any body know how to solve this problem i am sick and tired of it not working and i really want to play that ai mappack does n e body know what my problem is plz help me i was also wondering if the controller had to be a microsft xbox controller because i have an intec controller?

jaxjags, how did u fix your problem because i have the config file in my TDATA and all and i still get the flashing. i think its the same problem you had. so a solution would be greatly appreciated. thanks
