Can you Mod Halo 2 on Xbox 360????

i wanted to know if you can mod Halo 2 on Xbox 360 so i can play some mods?:cry2:

i dont know what an XSATA or SATA are so can i just use a System link cord?

1. go to wall mart , or bestbuy and buy xtasa port or which ever 1

2. use the software, with ur hardrive so u can view the files,

3.then go into tdata and find the file ending with the digigts 64 , then keep goign throu until u find files with the format .map

4. now u shud figure out which map u want to mod, (heres my relic mod) http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/down...ther-mods.html

5. get super ppf, download from this stie

6. copy relic , called dune.map to ur desktop make a foolder called clean drag into there, then copy it and repaste on th e desktop

7. open super ppf open the dune.map from the desktop, and and the patch , then click aapply patch,

8. doqnload cmr2 from this site resign the map on ur desktop then replace it with exsisting dune.map in ur harddrive, make sure u have a clean versio of relic so u can get back the original if u want =]

Modding Halo 2 with 360 step by step tutorial!




Things needed:

1. Xsata or Xport (I recommend Xport because you don’t need your 360 near a computer)

2. Computer

3. Xbox 360 Hard drive

Programs needed:

1. Xplorer 360

2. Supper PPF patcher

3. Map resigner (CMR2 is the mostly recommended resigner)

4. And mods for halo 2. (New maps only)

Step By Step Tut

• Connect your 360 HDD to your computer.
• Open Xplorer360
• Go to Partition 3, compatibility, Xbox 1, TDATA, 4d530064, then the cent sign.
• After doing that you will see files with numbers, each one of those have a certain map pack in it.
• Extract all maps you are going to mod to the desktop.
• Patch the maps through Super PPF
• Resign each one with your map resigner.
• Go back to your map files with Xplorer360.
• Delete all the maps you are going to mod on.
• Right click inject file and put the modded maps in the SAME folder you deleted the non-modded ones from.
• Unpluge the hard drive from the computer.
• Put it in your 360 and have a blast!

dont you need an Action Replay to play the mods tho?

Action replay is just a gamesave exploit software and hardware for the original Xbox...not much to do with Halo 2 except transfer gamesaves and management
