| well for starters im not really a pro modder, i wanna try and become one by following that list of things you had posted before but do you just have a beginner tutorial like for a complete beginner at it i never use entity...sorry if this is considered spam | ||||||

Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Award(s): 0 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ok for beginners , entity SBPS map editor, you move a load of stuff, (blocks etc) and nobody but you sees with you it on or off the host , you move a load of spawns and everyone can see your changes no problem, how come? what can be done as: host partymember And can fine adjustments be made to placing things with the SBSP viewer so things dont have to float or be half burried Last edited by LD50; 05-23-2007 at 06:39 PM. | ||||||

Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Award(s): 0 ![]() ![]() ![]() | please remove thanks for the + - tip, How about my other question, how come you can move spawns and every1 will receive spawn co-ords from you as host, but If you move blocks, turrets or Koth hills and they don't get the co-ords from you EDIT sorry about the poor English this is difficult question for me to describe and the more I think about it the deeper it gets, make it simple every 1 using exactly the same entity'd .map , all good :laughing: if playing system link as a party member with a entity'd .map , you can really only cheat (fast running auto aim flying all the stuff timmy age12 just lernt to mod would love) or am I missing something here? If playing system link as a party host with a entity'd map you can do some cool things like visible projectiles switches, give some timmy tricks to every1 for a fair fight, invisible teleporters, remove invisible barriers so my question really is what tags within a .map are depending on the host for location co-ords Last edited by LD50; 05-28-2007 at 07:22 PM. | no i mean i can never get the containment_base_base_gate (i forget the exact tag) to go a certain way, you know how in the BSP veiwer, how you can go forwards or backwards but not right/left (like turning i mean i know you can scroll n ****) well i cant get the gates to slope backwards (like the opposite way you are veiwing) i dunno why maybe im retarded.. | ||||||

Get new clean shared, single shared, and mainmenu maps, make sure the map you are trying to open isn't f*cked up. | ||||||
