Well, technically you are able to get banned for modding in custom games on Halo 2, but Bungie doesn't, because it is not harming anybodies rank at all, so it's really no big deal.

EDIT:I've been modding in Custom Games since July 2007, and I have not recieved a ban.

If been modding in custom games since 05, still no ban. You get banned for modding in mm, but if you take your mods off, you can get back in like a week later.

thanks guys. ive heard you can get your whole box banned if your on a 360 though, what can i do to avoid this? or is it only for mm modders?

I do believe the same rule applies for an xbox 360 like it does for the xbox.

There's a majority of people who mod Halo 2 on there 360. Still no ban for me, or others.
So it's safe to say that you're good to go.

thanks bro. all this time ive thougth tht i wuld get banned if i went online in customs with mods. does anyone even kno anyone on a 360 that has gotten console banned for custom game modding?
