Halo 2 no maps will load plz help

i just got my old xbox back and ftped to my xbox and put new halo 2 mods on but when i go to load them none of them will load i signed them all correctly and everything but even my old maps wont load does anyone know how to fix this???

If your old maps won't load, chances are there is something wrong with your disc or even your Xbox.

it loads with the same disc on my xbox 360 though

are they going to black screen or are they just not loading

somtimes after installing new maps or even using a diffrent halo 2 disc it can take quite a long tome to load a map when i build a new modded xbox i usually have to try every map untill i get 1 to load then they all load just fine (but that is the case if they are not going to black screen )

if they go to black screen id delete every halo 2 file in game saves manger and re download all the new maps

what moddded dash are u using

try clearing you cache and then like i said just try and load each map wait about 20 seconds on each map untill one will load once you get one to load the all should load what i found happens is that the xbox is searching for where the map is located and if you have changed maps on the xbox or used diffrent discs it takes a while fot hte xbox to find the maps but once it finds one it can find the rest


if that does not work just delete al the halo 2 gamesaves and then redownload the maps

if you cannot axcess live to dl the maps let me know i ave a app that installs all the halo2 dlc without live (the dlc app i have is outdated tho the 2 newest maps are pre update so you will still have to dl them from live if you want to play them on live the rest work just fine)

then download all files from net and put them e:/games/halo2 folder

lol im guessing you are wanting to play on live if so that info is no help

it may help diag your problem and see if it is a ishue with your xbox dvd drive or disc tho

find the tut to install halo 2 on the xbox hd (if you dont already know how to do it)then see if the maps load if they do then its a problem with your dvd drive or the halo 2 disc itself

other than that i have no idea what the problem would be
as a last resort you could reformat your xbox back to factory and then resoft mod your xbox and hope that it is just somthing in your xbox that was courpted

if playing on xbl:

just make modded disk and hotswap. no modded xbox needed

your .map files may be incorectly named, or you may need to resign your shared, and single player shared maps if you havent done those already
