| BANNED | The Halo 2 Lag-Out Glitch By: iX HoMiCid3 Xi - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Alright, let me start off explaining exactly what the "lag-out glitch" is, and what it's used for. The lag-out glitch is a connection glitch which tricks bungie's ranking system. If you follow this tutorial correctly and do it right, your team will gain EXP and your opponents will lose EXP. REQUIREMENTS: - Modem with a Standby button - or - - ZoneAlarm Pro (Bridged Connections ONLY!) - Teammate(s) with one of these available STEPS: - First, gather a team of players that you know all have either a modem with a standby button near their xbox, or a bridged connection with ZoneAlarm Pro, and are willing to do this glitch with you. - After you have your team, proceed into joining a matchmade game. - Now this is where it gets a bit tricky, you now have to decide on a time at which you are all going to press your standby buttons (or the stop button on ZAP) at the exact same time. I suggest using the in-game timer to pick a time. You may want to predetermine a time before you go into matchmaking. * Once you all press your standby at the same time, you will go into blue-screen saying "Connecting to session..." Keep your standby button pushed during this! ![]() - Next, the words on the blue-screen will change from "Connecting to session..." to "Re-establishing connection..." now press your standby button again to re-gain internet access. ![]() - If everyone on your team did it correctly and at the exact same time, when blue-screen leaves and your back in your game, you should see all of your teammates still in, and all of the other team gone. The picture below is an example of what it should look like if you did it correctly in double team. ![]() - Now you will gain EXP for that game and your opponents will have lost EXP. Remember, this only works if EVERYONE on your team presses standby at the exact same time and un-presses standby when it says "Re-establishing connection..." * Double team is the easiest to do this in since you only have one other teammate and timing is more likely to be exact. FAQ: - YOU DON'T NEED HOST TO DO THIS! - YOU CAN DO THIS IN ANY GAME-TYPE! - ALL PLAYERS ON YOUR TEAM MUST DO THIS FOR IT TO WORK *Any questions or problems either post it or send me a PM. - - If this helped you, please press my 'Thanks' button - - |
