How to get ZoneAlarm and Commview to work with Windows Vista:

NOTE: This may or may not work. When I first tried it, it didn't work. It now usually works for me.

1. Right click your ZoneAlarm icon, and select properties:

I wouldn't advise anyone to install it onto Vista. It created a .DLL error that forced me to reboot from scratch. That's the bullet I had to bite for science I guess.

well it is still possible, just gotta get new progs. Zone alarm has a beta out that is for vista, maybe even a final release by now. My issue is I bridge through a router, so I gotta use cain & abel to poison the packets, but cain doesn't use my network card right with the new way vista handles things. Vista is IPv6, and shows my info all weird in cain and wont show any data coming through.

Okay, I get Zone alarm installed and that all of the sudden I can't connect to anything concerning the internet. Then my diagnostic tells me that there is another firewall blocking the net. Assuming it's Zone alram I turn off all firewall, even the Vista Firewall, and still can't connect to ****. Any syggestions?
