[OLD] Router Bridging - Cain & Abel v4 + Zone Alarm Pro ::.

Great job on the tut, but I have a question. Can you use this method to boost yourself? I tried doing it, but after I started the poisoning on Cain, it didn't show anything in the lower box. I was signed in to Xbox Live and everything, and was in a pregame lobby by myself, but idk what's wrong. Can you not give host to yourself, or does someone else have to be in your party?

When I hit the blue plus sign no ips pop up.I hit apply to each ethernet and ok,but its not reading any ips.Did I not set something up right in the beginning?Commview reads my ips fine.

Look at the FAQs att he bottom of the tutorial, I tell you the way to resolve it. If it continues and you can still bridge just fine, then dont worry about it

Krafty, here is teh deal, i am bridging and team standbying just fine, but my cain only says half routing what can i do or does it even matter?

if i use a crossover cable from my xbox will my bridge still work.

If you look at the bottom of the tutorial, I tell you how to resolve that. Now if your able to bridge fine and its still half-routing, then dont worry about it

krafty when i scan it doesnt show my xbox's ip only my routers. i do have the xbox conected to my router and i have my router connected to my pc and i have i have the modem connecting the router. so i dont understand why it isnt showing my xbox ip.

Make sure you have the right ethernet port selected in the "Configure" part.
